Apple Pie
Though I don’t eat dessert often, I do love to make them for my sweetie. If I decided on a pie, there is only one fruit pie that he loves, APPLE! Below is the recipe I use to always get a wonderful apple pie.
- Ingredients
- Pillsbury pie crust (the box comes with two)
- 6 medium apples
- 1/8 tsp of Nutmeg and 3 /4 tsp of Cinnamon seasoning (they sell apple pie seasoning as well)
- 3/4 Cup of Sugar
- 1 tbsp of Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsps of All-Purpose Flour
- Recipe
- Set your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and spray your wonderful pie dish. You can use a light layer of butter to coat the pan as well. Place the first crust at the bottom of the pan and make sure that it comes to the edges of the pan.
- Peel and thinly slice all six apples and mix them with all the ingredients up above. Once all the apples are coated, pour the mix into the crust in the pan.
- Cover the filling with the second crust and pinch the sides of both crusts together all the way around.
- Place the pie in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes. If you don’t want the crust to burn, you can cover it for the first 20 minutes with foil.
- Enjoy your pie after cooling for about 20 minutes.
