Delicious White Chocolate Bread Pudding
This is a great recipe for those colder months or just a good dessert recipe to share with others.
Ingredients
A pack of Sweet Hawaiian Rolls (a dozen)
White and Milk Chocolate ( 2 oz each chopped)
1 cup of Heavy Cream
1 tsp of espresso powder / instant espresso coffee
1 tsp of vanilla extract
3 large eggs (lightly beaten)
1/2 cup of sugar
Directions
- Preheat the over to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While that is warming up, take out at least a 9 by 13 inch pan and spray it down. Take your pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls and cut each roll into at least 4 pieces.
- Once those are all chopped, layer the roll pieces and chopped chocolate in the pan. Press down gently once done.
- Now take the cream, espresso powder, vanilla, eggs, and sugar and mix them in a bowl. Make sure to beat the eggs lightly in a separate bowl first. Once it all mixed, pour the mixture over the bread pieces evenly.
- Let that sit for a minimum of 10 minutes and then gently press down so it is flat.
- Place the pan in the oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Once the pan has cooled, place it with tin foil and put the pan in the fridge overnight.
- When ready to eat, cut out your piece and enjoy cold or hot. Feel free to top the bread pudding with melted chocolate, a mixture of espresso powder and powdered sugar or enjoy on its own.
